A celebration of Cantonese cuisine, dim sum makes up the restaurant’s main offering and is served throughout the day, though they have a number of different menu options tailored to several price points. For those looking for something a little more luxe, we recommend treating yourself to their Harmony menu which includes two dim sum, an appetiser, a wok dish, a side and dessert per person."

Try them once and you will never forget the taro croquettes or the venison puffs, so light they practically need to be weighted down. Just off Brick Lane, Smokestak’s ‘medieval nightclub’ (as we described it when it opened) sits at the foot of an unassuming block of flats, but, cue corny trumpet fanfare, has a massive terrace on both sides of its corner frontage, with a fancy new awning in suitably robust army-green canvas to protect meat-chompers from summer downpours. Cos Smokestak is all about meat – brisket, pastrami – in great smoky chunks or shoved, peasant-style – into buns with pungent sauces and sharp sides."

"Smokestak continues its nationwide delivery of BBQ with a selection of boxes on offer. There are meal-for-two boxes including brisket, chips, toffee pudding and more and also pulled port or brisket bun boxes. You can also go a la carte and order as much smoked meat as you want."
