"Art soothes the soul and London has the luxury of accommodating some exceptional exhibitions. However, aside from ever-changing exhibitions from the likes of Louise Bourgeois, Sarah Lucas and Ai Weiwei, Tate Modern harbours another breathtaking element – the viewing level. The 360ᵒ views across central London coupled with stunning exhibitions makes the Tate Modern one of my favourite romantic places in London."

"If you’re into contemporary art then Tate Modern is the place to come and the Switch House galleries are well worth a look. Best shot: from the viewing terrace on the top floor of Switch House. The views of the River Thames and the Northbank are spectacular."

"The Museum of Comedy in London is housed in the crypt of St George's Church. The space was initially converted to be an art gallery before the Museum of Comedy moved in. "The Hideout Kafe has been a St. Albans resident for about a year now even though they can’t seem to spell their own name properly. It is a very cute little place operating on the former site of Sunnyday blinds, bringing a little ray of sunshine to us all. Annoyingly on the day we visited it was far too cold to eat in their little courtyard garden so we had to squeeze inside."
