20 best free things to do in London
"This enormous, ancient parkland is one of the best places to escape the city while at the same time catching an amazing view of it: the vista from Parliament Hill, which forms the southeast part of Hampstead Heath, is so impressive it’s actually protected by law. Elsewhere in the park you’ll find a zoo, three swimming ponds (nominal charge, which is often ignored) and plenty of quiet spots for a back-to-nature-in-the-heart-of-London picnic."

Stroll across the grass and clamber through the gnarled trees or take in the view of London from atop Parliament Hill. 8 Best City Farms to Discover in London
"This farm is little further out of London, but a whole day of adventure and fun can be enjoyed here, thanks to a huge array of facilities, besides the friendly animals. There’s indoor soft play at the Bundle Barn, an alpine toboggan run, Dino Dig and Splash play area and an adventure playground. Unlike most of the other city farms in London listed, there is a small entry price for this one (£10) but this includes entry to all indoor and outdoor play areas, activities, animals, bird shows and a tractor ride to the dairy farm."

Brunch season has finally arrived
"Restaurants Cafés Balham. This buzzing Brooklyn-style café and cocktail bar in Balham comes courtesy of three school besties, who serve hip weekend brunches alongside gallons of silky-smooth coffee. The brunch menu has something for everyone, from sticky pastries and fruit-topped cereals to eggs most ways, but also check out ‘Bob’s Your Uncle’ (pork belly, fried egg, cucumber, spring onion, sriracha and tomato relish)."

17 London Breakfasts You Must Try Before You Die
"Their menu is filled with weird and wonderful things, but the star of the show is surely the Step Sister: a tasty tower of gluten free sweet potato, courgette and feta fritters served with avocado, spinach, kale, turmeric yoghurt and a poached egg. Not only is it mind-blowingly toothsome, but it’s also incredibly ‘grammable – much like the restaurant itself. You should also try the Marcus Breakfast or the Veggie Marcus, if only for the homemade, smokey beans."

"19/02/2021: Not sure why this restaurant has garnered some bad reviews. We use this place all the time and have found the food to be of good quality and reasonably priced. We ordered early this evening and were given an arrival time - guess what - they delivered 20 minutes early. We have found though, over the last few months of the COVID delivery period that sometimes restaurants get busy - weekends, bank holidays. So it does pay to order as early as you can and not get too p@ssed off it the food takes longer than expected.Anyways we've always had good service and food from China Magic. 12/02/2021: Worse take away ever and disgusting customer service!"
