The best restaurants with a view in London
"Located just below Duck & Waffle on the 38th and 39th floors of London’s Herron Tower is the equally impressive restaurant with a view – SUSHISAMBA. SUSHISAMBA uniquely blends Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine and culture, with a menu featuring everything from tempura and sushi to churrasco and seviches. As well as the large main dining room with its floor-to-ceiling windows and unusual bamboo roof, SUSHISAMBA also features the highest outdoor dining terraces in Europe, offering unparalleled 360-degree views across the capital."

The 11 best sushi restaurants in London
"Peruvian and Japanese cuisine have a well-known partnership, but at Sushisamba, the Brazilians are joining in the party too. You’ll find an El Topo salmon nigiri served with jalapeno and melted mozzarella, and a kobe steak with churrasco among the larger dishes. The sushi here, of course, comes with a view at the city location, where diners can enjoy the fruits of the 38th and 39th floor spot in 110 Bishopsgate."

Pretty Restaurants in London
"While SUSHISAMBA in the City is notorious enough, it's the Covent Garden site that has caught our eye. Not only the place to catch sky high views and serious amounts of sushi, this pretty London restaurant is a sight to behold from the bold prints on the walls and the hanging plants overhead to the fusion cuisine, worthy of any Instagram post."

8 Of The Best Chinese Restaurants To Chow Down At In London
"This modern Chinese restaurant on Broadwick Street, slickly designed and eagerly staffed, is a great option for all-day dim sum year round, and their seven-dish Chinese New Year menu (on ’til March 4) is pretty special. The sesame balls filled with a salted egg-yolk custard are a real treat, the braised pork is ludicrously tender and melty, and the golden fortune prawns are mouthwatering too. The cocktails we tried were just the ticket to sharpen the senses (the Black River Martini is a punchy, purple Scotch + blackberry delight) and although I wasn’t wholly sold on the admittedly very pretty petit gateau that concluded the meal, my companion eagerly demolished both of ours, so what do I know?"

London’s best north American restaurants
"Restaurants American Shoreditch. An edgy bricks-and-mortar site from pop-up vendor David Carter, Smokestak peddles smoke and meat like it’s going out of fashio. The stygian semi-industrial space may feel like a medieval nightclub, but there’s no arguing with the home-cured salami or the sweet, smoky, salty brisket brushed with barbecue sauce and bone-marrow butter – just be sure to order plenty of citrusy fennel and celery slaw as a palate-cleansing counterbalance."

14 of the best American restaurants in London
"Why: In spite of being just moments from Shoreditch station, this industrial-chic BBQ smokehouse feels slightly off the beaten track. Whether that’s due to the lack of signage or the achingly hip clientele, we’re unsure, but what we are sure about is the delectable dishes Smokestak serves. We recommend going all-American with the ample feasting menu, which features all the best dishes including bone marrow flatbread, pork belly rib, beef brisket and sticky toffee pudding.Where:Smokestak, 35 Sclater Street, Shoreditch"

"As well as introducing a line of DIY meal kits, SMOKESTAK has launched a weekend takeaway and delivery service. Available on Fridays and Saturdays, deliveries can be made within two miles of the Sclater Street restaurant, or collected if pre-ordered. For a full feast, diners can begin with crispy pigtails; smoked cod roe and potato skins; crispy ox cheek with anchovy mayo; and new autumnal dishes such as mushrooms on toast with beef dripping gravy."

"Restaurants British Fitzrovia. Expect a banging all-day brunch menu at this attractive Fitzrovia brasserie when the weekend comes around. Buttermilk pancakes and various hollandaise riffs loom large (try the avocado and chard florentine), but also dive into classics such as shakshuka, kedgeree, smashed avo with dill salsa or chorizo hash with curly kale."

The 38 Essential Restaurants in London
"After Delia Smith and Jamie Oliver, a section of Britain was Ottolenghiised: The Israeli chef became the go-to chef for the de rigueur dinner party. Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer worked for Ottolenghi before opening Honey & Co, their warm, welcoming little cafe-dining room in Fitzrovia, serving smart dishes like slow-cooked lamb shoulder shawarma and prawns baked in a spiced tomato and pepper matbucha sauce with cracked wheat, as well as first-rate freshly baked pita and a spectacular range of cakes and sweet bakes. It is among London’s finest examples of Middle Eastern cuisine, which doesn’t just sate a populist craving for sumac and co., but continues to be one of the most charming and intimate restaurant spaces in the city."

30 Best Restaurants in London
"This tiny Middle Eastern café is hospitable and homespun, from the waiter’s cheery welcome to the simple counter, laden with cakes baked that morning. It’s owned by married Israeli chefs, Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer, and their take on Middle Eastern home-cooking is restorative and slyly inventive: poached quince and curd cheese, say, scattered with honeyed hazelnuts, or fragrant, flaky chicken pastilla with Medjool date and endive salad. "The array of cakes and desserts displayed in the windows of Ottolenghi delis across town is awe-inspiring. You can’t really go wrong with the cakes, which change daily, but if you can get it go for a passion fruit meringue tart and the cheesecakes are perfection – we enjoyed a salted caramel and hazelnut one. The Spitalfields location is the biggest Ottolenghi venue."

16 Tourist Trap Restaurants That Are Actually Good
"One of London’s most recognisable chefs and a cook, author, and restaurateur who sits alongside Gordon Ramsay, Nigella Lawson, and Jamie Oliver as a food star with mass, international appeal.
