"Brought to you by the Goodman Restaurant Group, the people behind the Burger & Lobster restaurants, this restaurant champions the beasts of land and sea – the finest beef and Norwegian Red King Crab. The crab comes from the Norway King Crab company in Bugøynes, a small town on the Northern Norwegian/Russian border that benefits from the behemoths of crustacians. While the meat is handpicked from around the globe – everything from USDA Nebraska’s 150-day corn fed Chateaubriand to A5 Grade Japanese Wagyu Sirloin."
"Hidden in Marylebone, there is a secluded terrace where those in the know go for decadent platters of fruits de mer and glasses of champagne. For the cooler months, flare heaters provide ample warmth for the Beast experience, where king crab and Angus steak are always a highlight."
"What:Beast is the kind of pricy restaurant only people with serious money frequent. Vast wooden tables, which stretch the length of the dining room, ensure that any meal at Beast feels like a banquet. Steaks are the main draw but don’t overlook the seafood."
"Perhaps the most famous casino in London if for no other reason than its location smack bang in the middle of Leicester Square, it covers two floors and promises Las Vegas style play. There are a heap of electronic gaming machines, which incorporate electronic poker and automatic roulette as well as plenty of slots. It’s the table games that catch the eye most obviously when you walk in, though, with the likes of punto banco, pai gow and three-card poker on offer alongside more traditional offerings."
"A post shared by dC (@desdemonacheung) on Nov 28, 2018 at 8:56pm PST. Be transported back to the 1920s at Mayfair's The Colony Grill Room. Enjoy a drink in the cosy cocktail bar adorned with vintage snaps, before settling down to an intimate meal at this classy hangout modeled on traditional American grills."
"Next on my list of places to find the best desserts in London, it’s the Colony Grill Room. If you fancy yourself a creative type, then why not make your own DIY sundae at The Colony Grill Room?. You can use any of the toppings on offer to you to create your perfect sundae."
"If the bare-bricked walls and bottled beer are a little too grubby for your refined tastes then head down to The Beaumont hotel in Mayfair. Within its hallowed walls you will find The Colony Grill Room, an upmarket restaurant that channels a nostalgic art deco feel."
"01/06/2021: Visited on a Saturday evening around 7pm with wife and kids as we fancied burgers and this place seemed to have good reviews and was close by.Ordered 3 burgers, 1 portion of loaded fries and some nuggets. Everything is served on grease proof paper which is a bit odd but I guess that’s the vibe.Every single dish was horrid and none of us finished anything. The waiting staff couldn’t care less and didn’t ask at any point during our visit if everything was ok or if we wanted something else.Toilets were actually disgusting. All this for almost £70 too!!"
"Their mouthwatering burgers and chips sprinkled with rosemary salt are what keeps Londoners’ queuing all day, every day for a bite of Patty and Bun. From just £7.50, diners can tuck into one of six delicious burgers including the classic ‘Smokey Robinson’ and the ‘Lambshank Redemption’. Patty and Bun definitely live up to its reputation – this is one of the cheap eats in London not to be missed."
"This historic London retailer was established on Regent Street in 1875, dealing mainly in rare oddities imported from Japan, and also purveying an in-house line of floral and graphic fabrics. Don't be fooled by the shop's antiquated exterior, as today brands like Nike and Dr. Martens are lining up to collaborate with the storied retailer, which has stepped up to compete with other respected retailers in London and across the UK by bringing in collections from Givenchy, Margiela, Tom Ford, and others."
"Housed in an eye-catching mock-Tudor building, Liberty of London is a must-visit for many tourists to the city and is most famous for its “Liberty print” fabrics which are also available in the form of clothing, furniture, and accessories. Liberty silk scarves start at around £150 and fabric starts from £22.50 per metre. Liberty has taken part in several designer collaborations with brands including Manolo Blahnik, Barbour, Nike, and Uniqlo."
"You could be forgiven for thinking the Liberty department store building is a lot older than it is. At first sight, the timber-framed front looks late medieval, but in fact it’s a Tudor Revival building from the early 20th century. Arthur Liberty previously owned several store sites in and around nearby Regent Street."
"Sopwell House Hotel is a grand affair, with more than 100 rooms, two restaurants, a spa and 12 acres of grounds to its name. Among all of that the best place to relax is in the cocktail lounge, where afternoon tea is served. It’s a long, breezy room that begins with a marble-topped bar and stretches all the way to a library, with little alcoves and giant sash windows along the way."
"Housed in a jaw-dropping 1929 building, the Porchester is one of London’s more authentic spa experiences — jolly steam room and knockout sauna included. If you like pools, this is the place to be!. There is a large pool for lane swimming to work those back muscles into shape, or a plunge pool for cooling off after a sweltering detox in one of the three Turkish baths."
