"Found along an unassuming side street in Clapton, Uchi is an authentic Japanese culinary experience like no other. Think minimalist furnishings, low lighting and a hand-written specials board and you can begin to imagine what your evening at Uchi will have in store. Select from a varied list of real-deal sake and make sure to try the unusual but sensational seared beef sushi."
"Just a short walk from London’s West End theatres,L’Escargot offers a fantastic pre-theatre menu as well as their usual a la carte fare and Sunday lunch options. Choose a table in front of the roaring wood fire and enjoy a whole lobster, sample the liquorice beef or opt for the traditional snails. All of the dishes on offer are the usual French bistro classics with a L’Escargot twist, and can be accompanied by a bottle of fine French wine; just ask the waiter to hand-pair the wine with the dishes."
"Georges Gaudin, the restaurant moved further up Greek Street in 1927 and was renamed after its best-loved dish. Perhaps its most famous period was in the eighties when it was taken over by Nick Lander and Jancis Robinson (their son Will now runs the Quality Chophouse among others) and the dining room was run by the iconic GM Elena Salvoni. After a few years finding its feet in a modern dining scene, it’s now firmly back, firing on all cylinders as one of Soho’s most iconic restaurants."

The signature vegan tofu fish and chips makes the journey to Norman's Coach & Horses worth the trip alone; while there are also alcoholic beverages labelled on the menu."

Westfield, Ariel Way, London W12 7HB, United Kingdom
"London looks minuscule from the top-floor View from the Shard, so the restaurants that occupy the middle levels of the skyscraper are better bets if you’d like to admire the city’s finer details (and if you just have a cocktail your visit should turn out cheaper too). On the 31st storey of the building, aqua shard is sultry and shadowy space (almost overly so, in fact - take care if your night vision is lacking), serving a contemporary British menu devised by Dale Osborne (previously of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal). That might mean hearty mains such as pork belly with barley, turnips and crackling, followed by cherry bakewell tart with Cornish ice cream."
"No list of restaurants with the best views in London would be complete without some mention of The Shard: the city’s tallest building, towering 306m above ground. Half way up on the 31st floor you’ll find Aqua, an upscale, stylish spot with floor-to-ceiling windows. Nab a table beside one of them for a truly breathtaking dining experience – particularly at night, when the London panorama is lit up with thousands of twinkling lights."
"The Shard has earned itself the title of London’s best views. I mean, seriously name a better view of London, we’ll wait. With wonderful views, modern British cuisine, private dining rooms and a three-storey high atrium bar this venue is destined for spectacular events."
